Booking, Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policy

This policy explains how bookings, payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled for The Palace Dahab.

1. Booking Requests

Guests can request a booking through our website, WhatsApp, social media pages, phone, or third-party booking platforms.

A booking request is not considered confirmed until The Palace Dahab confirms availability and sends confirmation to the guest.

2. Direct Bookings

Direct bookings are bookings made through The Palace Dahab website, WhatsApp, phone, social media, or direct communication with our team.

For direct bookings, our team will confirm:

  • Available dates

  • Chalet type

  • Number of guests

  • Total price

  • Deposit amount, if required

  • Payment method

  • Check-in details

3. Third-Party Bookings

Bookings made through platforms such as Booking.com, Airbnb, Agoda, or other online travel agencies are subject to the cancellation, payment, and refund rules shown on the platform at the time of booking.

If there is any difference between this website policy and the policy shown on the third-party platform, the platform booking policy will apply to that reservation.

4. Payment Methods

Depending on the booking method, payments may be accepted through:

  • Cash

  • Vodafone Cash

  • Instapay

  • Bank transfer

  • Card payment, if available

  • Online travel agency payment systems

  • Other approved payment methods

Payment method availability may change depending on the booking source and the time of reservation.

5. Deposit

A deposit may be required to confirm direct bookings. If a deposit is required, the booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received and confirmed by The Palace Dahab.

If the guest does not pay the required deposit within the agreed time, the property may release the room and cancel the booking request.

6. Remaining Balance

Any remaining balance must be paid according to the agreement made during booking confirmation. The remaining balance may be due before arrival, at check-in, or through another agreed payment arrangement.

The Palace Dahab may refuse check-in if the required payment is not completed.

7. Cancellation by Guest

For direct bookings, cancellation terms depend on the booking date, stay date, season, and agreement made at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, deposits may be non-refundable if the guest cancels close to the check-in date, during high season, holidays, or special offer periods.

Guests should contact The Palace Dahab as early as possible if they need to cancel or change their booking.

8. Date Changes

Date changes are subject to availability and price differences.

If the new dates have a higher price, the guest may be required to pay the difference.

If the new dates have a lower price, refunds or credit depend on the booking agreement and cancellation timing.

9. No-Show

If the guest does not arrive on the confirmed check-in date and does not contact the property, the booking may be treated as a no-show.

In case of no-show, The Palace Dahab may cancel the booking and keep the deposit or payment according to the booking terms.

10. Early Departure

If the guest leaves before the confirmed check-out date, unused nights may not be refundable unless otherwise agreed by The Palace Dahab.

11. Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the booking source, cancellation timing, payment method, and the policy agreed at the time of booking.

Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method where possible. Processing time may depend on banks, payment providers, or third-party platforms.

Transfer fees, platform fees, bank charges, or payment processing fees may be deducted where applicable.

12. Cancellation by The Palace Dahab

The Palace Dahab may cancel or modify a booking in rare cases such as emergency maintenance, safety issues, incorrect availability, force majeure, or circumstances outside the property’s control.

If The Palace Dahab cancels a direct confirmed booking for a reason caused by the property, the guest will be offered an alternative date, alternative unit if available, or refund of paid amounts.

13. Special Offers and Non-Refundable Rates

Some promotional offers, holiday rates, long-stay discounts, or special prices may be non-refundable or may require special payment conditions.

These terms will be explained before confirming the booking.
